it is a good book over all . But there are some boring periods thru out the book . its somewhat confusing cause they switch from 3 different stories or views. But in this book you really get to know Bentz on a more personal level and all of the other main characters as well. There are some very steamy parts to it that doesn't take away from the story but just adds to it all which makes it a Cant-Put-Down Type of book. There are varies different love stories all goin on at the same time and add in the horror of a serial killer on the lose makes it more exciting!!!! But it once u think its over its not and at the almost end of it it again becomes a Cant-Put-It-Down type of book!!!

Review: Hot Blooded

In the beginning there really wasn't much action going on but just hang in there cause as u read deeper thru the book the more intense the situation w love and with a stalker that turns into a serial killer is on the loose in New Olean's! I really did feel like ive known the main characters very well. Lisa Jackson as a way with her writing that u feel as if u were right there in the mist of the story as u read the book thru the hot extreme love sizzle - thriller of trying to catch this serial killer and trying to solve this mystery! Now let me say this is the first book that ive read of Ms. Lisa Jackson and I really do love how she writes and will continue to read her books as I move onto Cold Blooded #2 book in the New Orleans series. If this is the first book of the series im excited to read the rest and my expectations are high after reading this book! SO if u love hot sizzling love romance w a thriller twist and like to be always on the tips of your toes in suspense just when u think everything is getting back to normal something somewhat hair raising happens!!!

The Beginning of the book starts off w drama that quickly pulls u into the book its exciting but at the same time somewhat scary as to what's going to happen next. There are some boring parts but once u think the action is dead in the book it picks up there are periods of the book where there is a lot of romance then drama filled action going on thru out the book like that. And even when u get to the end of the book I would really recommend u keep reading for tho the book is done the author gives u and extra bit more to what happened or left at the end of the book and once again there is drama and romance and at that end u wouldn't believe or expect what happened !!!!

Review: Shades of Twilight

Shades of Twilight by Linda Howard

Well it was boring for the most part in the beginning but as u read on it gets interesting and there are the few spots of the steamy areas of the book but only adds more to the story and u will not put down the book even tho it switches from one persons side of the story to another's view of the story it isn't hard to follow along and not get lost as to what they are talking about. I love how Linda holds the suspense above your head making u think whats going to happen next. I love a love story mixed into drama and a murder scene. I really do believe ive found one of my favorite authors!!! Im going to be reading more of her work!!!!
