Review: The Girl with the Scar

The Girl with the Scar The Girl with the Scar by Emma Maas
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

~ Audio Version ~
I can really relate to Emily in this short story. With her scar on her face and her insecurities because of an accident that accord in her childhood. I had the similar situation happen to me that left me with a few scars on my face and having to deal with the beauty aspect of the insecurities. She would not go to youth gatherings because of this for there were kids that teased her about it but Daniel was there to protect her from them and he never saw her scars as others did. He just saw her beauty and nothing else.

As Daniel encouraged her thru her insecurities bout her scar Emily started living life as if it wasn't there.
Now she did want to work at the animal shelter but her father denied it until Emily's mother talked to him and he allowed her.
Little did she know later on she will regret volunteering at the shelter.

The book as suspense, Romance and the normal teasing Emily.
The end is very sweet when Daniel asks Emily to marry him!!!
There are alot of lessons to be learned / gems to be take away within this short story for those of you that have scars.

The 7½ Deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle The 7½ Deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle by Stuart Turton
My rating: 1 of 5 stars

Well honestly this book was confusing and half the time i couldn't keep up / understand here the main character was being that he had the gift and was able to switch to other bodies within the group at the house to be able to solve the murder mystery which i still don't know who didn't it. They keep repeating the same days over and over which is soo confusing and the main character switching other characters in the book if i could i would give this book 0 stars because it was very lengthy and very confusing
